  1. Ellen Oceanside Ellen Oceanside says:

Bertie listens to her friend Mable who went to a psychic and now believes her husband restaurant has a hex on it The way she described the person she went to, was something else, who was Sister Destina really She did mentioned it to her husband, telling him the ritual would cost two thousand dollars Howard wants Bertie to check into this phony We have some quirky characters and a interesting plot, to make it an enjoyable reading.

  2. D. Watson D. Watson says:

Decent urban mystery, with a little romance and music thrown in too, but it s rather slow paced. The paranormal and psychic elements from the first few chapters were interesting, so I would have liked them to play a larger part in the story than they did, but unfortunately the author minimized them.
